Can somebody give me the cliff notes on why everybody is upset?
I seem to remember O being paid very little so that LSU could afford to pay for contracts like the laughable one Aranda just got.
Why are they cheaping out on this hire?
Has the money dried up?

It amazes me that in so many of these instances the people most directly involved are the ones blindsided with the inevitable. Very little difference from the johnny jones shite show, anyone with a half a brain knew disaster was on the horizon. How he was retained after the Ben Simmons debacle year absolutely baffles me to this day.
Alleva and Alexander are absolute piles of excrement....fortunately I've heard some rumblings that Alexander may be headed to greener pastures voluntarily. Now we just have to hope and pray he's replaced with someone with a vision to carry the University and athletic department into a successful future. (with the current governor, I'm not sure I'm very optimistic)

Because we have a group of morons choosing to hire unqualified or failed coaches at the very end of their careers instead of proven/successful coaches who are at the beginning or on the upswing of their careers.

O is not paid "very little", but he's paid a LOT more than he deserves at $3.5 million a year. Its honestly disgraceful.

They are upset because they are a bunch of spoiled children who post here. They think they should be able to hire the LSU coaching staff and have input into their direction. They think the head coach should just be a figure head and have no say in the direction of the offense, defense, or special teams, the rant knows better than he does.
To be fair, the athletic director has given into their wishes a couple of times and they feel empowered. But the majority of fans who pay most of the money and have supported the program long before they ever heard of LSU support the head coach.

LSU fans talk shite to A&M fans for paying a big payday to get Jimbo, i remember well the past 2 years of fans staying up til 3am to get the latest scoop hearing Jimbo was all signed sealed and delivered and they were freaking out. Had LSU gave Jimbo that contract they would be all over the place yelling how LSU didnt take no for an answer, did what it took to get their guy ect ect. That said, I dont see too many complaining about paying Aranda a kings ransom to stay...
