I’m not upset at Aranda’s contract because he’s vital to this staff. We couldn’t lose him and we didn’t. I don’t think any LSU fan has any problem guaranteeing him several years because he’s proved his worth.
I wanted Jimbo Fisher in 2015 and 16 because he was a known commodity. However, I changed my tune when I heard that he wanted 10 years. No coach in College Football outside of Saban and MAYBE Meyer have earned that. No one. Not Dabo. Not anybody else. It sucks that Texas entered the market for Herman and that we ended up with O, but I’m glad we didn’t give Jimbo that contract. He isn’t worth 10 years.

What coach who is worth a shite feels that a guy who hasn't been a full time OC in over 20 years gives them the best shot at winning? O is making this hire because Steve will let him meddle, and be a yes man. Coach O doesn't want to
He wants to survive. A coach who wanted to win would go out and hire a top tier OC and let him do his job.
