Meatball more than likely will get a job somewhere else and Bill stays on as DL coach.

I would bet the next DC gets some flexibility. I doubt O would fight to keep Meatball on staff if next guy has a guy.

If next DC has a DB background, we let him bring his own LB coach and flexible with DL. If next DC has a LB guy then I can see us him bringing in a guy to fill either Busch's roll or a DL coach.

The next DC should be allowed to hire his guys with the exception of keeping Raymond.

Isn’t meatball a stud recruiter?

Meatball was O's GA and first promotion who walked to the office in the rain to unlock it for a recruit on his off day. He'll be here until he chooses to leave.

They announced when Johnson came that it would specifically be a one year deal while meatball can't walk.

No, you don't have one, unless the arse you're talking out of has one.

Meatball will stay as an analyst or move on elsewhere to an on-field coaching position.

Meatball isn’t going anywhere.

And the DC doesn’t bring in his own people. In all of Aranda’s time at LSU, he brought in one person: Bill Busch.

Meatball returns as DL coach. He was mentored by and learned under Pete Jenkins. Bill Johnson may stay on as LB coach, if Kris Richard is hired. Richard would be DC, and coach safeties in place of Busch. Aranda coached LB's. So if Busch leaves that's two to replace. Hire Richard and move Bill Johnson to LB coach. More important is to retain Raymond. His contract is up March 31, 2020.

Where do y’all get this? Coordinators are not the bosses of position coaches on their side of the ball. The HC is the boss. Orgeron just won the damn NC, he’s not letting coordinators—or anybody else—dictate staff hires. That’s ridiculous.

I think meatballs contract is up too

But if retained he’s too valuable as a recruiter to be relegated to analyst

IF both returned to be on the field coaches it wouldn’t be Meatball coaching D Line in your scenario. That’s a big IF either way.
