Wait, so LSU is actually LSU A&M?
Yes. The Baton Rouge campus, within the LSU System, is the A&M College, as opposed to LSU Shreveport, LSU Alexandria, or (soon to be rejoining the LSU System) UNO.

Ol' Huey made it the land grant institution, as well. There was NO University of Louisiana until VERY recently. And even now, most Louisianians, save for those directly involved, even consider the UL system to have equal standing.

No he didn't. Ol Huey wasn't even alive when LSU was made a land grant university.

I mean I guess if you call 1847 VERY recent.
Tulane was University of Louisiana until the Paul Tulane family donation. There is still no "University of Louisiana." Its all UL-at whatever city. Probably semantics on that point though as it was solely done to show they are in the University of Louisiana system, but are not the flagship (there is no flagship in that system)

Dumbassery at play on this board as usual.
Happens all the freaking time at universities The only dumbass here is you. Why don’t you sit down and let those who know what they are talking about speak instead?

You mean the BOS don't even sing Callin Baton Rouge together? I'm disappointed.

Yeah, they are going to go into executive session at a public meeting and that's not going to cause any trouble is it?
Just admit you know nothing about PUBLIC board meetings
A public board is not allowed to discuss personnel issues in an open forum. Letting BK go is extremely personal. To him and the other employees involved. If the discussions so happen to veer toward replacing BK, then that too could be discussed. Since the person involved is not a current employee and has requested his involvement not be public

It's an A&M land grant university. Like most of the SEC teams
LSU, Arkansas. Georgia, Texas A&M, Miss State, Florida, Auburn, Mizzou, Kentucky, and Tennessee are.
Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Vanderbilt, and Ole Miss are not.

Question is, is there any truth to it? I’m tired of being strung along

You do know that they can add topics of discussion in the middle of the meeting right? Not everything is already pre-set.

This has been nothing more than a welcome distraction from my boring life and bad football season. This has actually been more entertaining than the games this year. I actually forgot that we have 2 games left.
