My opinion is that Jimbo will do a great job at AnM. I HATE that we didn’t get him year before last. It amazes me how people can take one really screwed up year and doom a top tier coach as having lost it or trying to console themselves by saying he’s worthless now. That’s stupid. We put up with Miles’ boneheaded game day coaching for 5 years after he started losing it after Bamas spanking in the NCG. Now, after Jimbo has proven to be a top notch coach, ppl want to dis him bc he had one bad season? They did the same thing to Patterson last year, and bc he had one bad year, everybody (but me) jumped the GP bandwagon- and he would have been a better hire than anyone else (even Jimbo).

Anyway, point is ppl need to stop making knee-jerk reactions and look at the overall big picture.

Does Jimbo keep Chavis?

If I was A&M I'd make damn sure he fired a few of his cronies that he has kept on wayyy too long at FSU.

People are saying Jimbo will get current USCe DC. Former Auburn player

I would guess there is zero chance Chief is retained. I think Jeff Banks and Terry Price are the only coaches with a chance and they’ve been doing most of the recruiting this week. Even those two are probably unlikely

he sure did well at UT and LSU. went to shite at TAMU. or so it seemed. he did not forget how to coach overnight. talent? recruiting? assistant coaches? what was the issue? Or do you even know?

if jimbo does get job i'd offer pellini. they coaches at LSU 05 and 06. but Bo may not want to go back to being a DC from a HC spot.
