Which one has been an eyewitness on how to put together the ultimate winning machine?
Like Will Muschamp, Derek Dooley, Mike Haywood, Scott Linehan, Mike Mularkey, Dan Quinn and Kirby Smart all were exposed to the ultimate winning machine?
Got it
That sailed right over my head
For every Dantonio and McElwain who have been successful out of the Saban machine, most of them simply aren't him and haven't been successful.
Hell, Orgeron was exposed daily to the Pete Carroll winning machine and the Jimmy Johnson juggernaut.
That worked out REEEEEAALLY well in Oxford.

did he have a binder?
Wasn't that funny originally, and hasn't been funny the 1000's of times it's been posted since.

No good coach will ever meet that criteria, UH will always be a stepping stone for up and coming coaches.

56 means he has another decade of coaching in him unless OU cans him.
He's been at OU for 18 years. He could easily coach another decade, or he could look for another challenge. Or he could retire at 60 as an OU legend.
My point is, 18 years is a long time to be at one place. If/when he decides he's ready for the next chapter, and, assuming he kills it at whatever school he goes to, Riley would be one of their first calls made for OU.

Riley is only 33 him rushing in to a HC job like Houston would be really really stupid

Oklahoma offensive coordinator Lincoln Riley "hit it out of the park" during his recent Houston interview, according to his agent. "I would be surprised if they don't hire him," the agent said. "Lincoln killed it."

Why would they do this search and settle on either coordinator? At least we didn't search when we settled.

No buying what Duarte is being fed.
No way Houston chooses Miles over Riley.
No way Houston chooses Miles over Riley.

Aranda hopefully will be LSU"s next coach, if Belichick turns us down, but I've got a good feeling about Bill Belichick and LSU

How did it work out last time Houston hired from within?
Posted on 12/7/16 at 4:55 pm to bharris4qb1
I'd imagine if they went with Riley they were going to make him agree to a ridiculous buyout to prevent themselves from getting Hermanned again. Not that it won't happen if they go with Kiffin, but he and Sexton have a little more negotiating power than a young Riley.
