I listen to a lot of sports radio. I mean pretty much 24/7. Lots of people have LSU top 3. Everyone minus EJ Manuel has LSU top 5. EVERYONE has LSU over Florida.

Florida has slipped some I think over the last 10 years or so. It’s still a good job. It depends on the person who is being interviewed for jobs as to what value they assign.

why are all of you acting like there a drastic amount of disparity between these two schools. i just provided proof of just how little disparity there is. i don't get it.

UF is a GREAT job.
UF is a destination job.
But given identical offers, LSU vs UF, a coaching prospect will come to LSU 10 out of 10 times.

I'm not a Florida fan and I view them as equal jobs. The only major advantage at LSU is getting to play 90% of your home games at night, which leads to a tougher environment.

I think it comes down to personal preference from the coach. Both have proven to be able to win it all at different times.
