Les, please get Leach for OC

The UM job is now gone.
If the Pirate wants back into a major coaching job next season, his best option is the OC job at LSU. He has to concede this now. Fair or not ESPN has screwed him from getting any Major HC job anytime soon. (Thank you Craig James and ESPN. Always thought you hated us. But what a great xmas present!)
Has Les Miles made that phone yet BelowPar?
This could not be playing out any better for the Pirate to be a Tiger.

I think Miles and Crowton are here to stay.

If Crowton is retained on this staff after January 7th, then Miles needs to be fired for being so stupid

I do not understand why LSU fans think Leach would be such a great hire.

All we know is that Miles is looking for someone to replace Crowton. Whether or not any moves will be made is yet to be determined.

this.
He makes NO sense AT ALL.

A combo of Steve Logan and Bob Bostad would be a better replacement for Crowton and Stud.

i don't understand why you think he wouldn't

Please don't title your thread like you're breaking the news... it's a little misleading
as for Leach's doubters... how is he not a great hire? Sure he's a little crazy.. but have you seen his teams?
And honestly, insanity fits in better with LSU fans than we'd like to admit.

because the personnel we have and are currently recruiting fit a very different style of offense than what Leach brings to the table.

Thank you.
Just what we need. A guy who throws the ball 75 times a game with our QB's. Not to mention all the running backs we have on the roster as of next year.
Our head coach already fricking eats grass. All we need now is a guy who jerks off to pirates, and locks players in closets. Brilliant.

Would Les honestly let Leach run the air raid? Would Leach care to try to implement a pro-style offense?

probably one of the most true statements I've read on Tigerdroppings in months....

For some reason, I like this. And agree with it. We're the crazy LSU fans. We're not delusional Bama fans, Auburn fans in denial, or arrogant Texas fans. We beez crazy

I laughed out loud for real.

So did I. I also immediately though of you working diligently in your magic shop if this scenario came to fruition.

I'm not so sure about the closet incident, it seems political correctness has infiltrated football...back in the day coaches ran our asses off, wouldn't let us drink water, it was brutal...we worked out in an old bldg. w/no a/c, like being in a sauna...the least little thing now and everyone whines...i think there is more to the story than we know and Leach is probably not in the wrong as much as Craig James would like to whine about...

People ask have we ever seen his offense? Yes. NO running backs at all. Yet here the last couple of years, we've been recruiting for the exact opposite of his style? Yeah...great move.
-
Not saying it would be a bad hire for ANYONE, just a bad hire for LSU right now. Now, Muschamp at UF could probably use him...but he doesn't have a Ridley, a Ford, a Hilliard, et al. He has a bunch of fast receivers, a QB that would fit in Leach's system better than he did in Meyer's, and small scat backs. Plus, he has a few players that need to be locked up...might as well be in a closet.

Also agree Leach probably got a raw deal out of that bullchit. Craig James is a bitch.
