We wanted to stop the run we did that. I don't think we expected Coates to be as dominant as he was, so we adjusted & used our speed rushers more. The best part of our gameplan was stuffing the run. You have to realize in these shootouts stopping the run is still vital....

It's not bad. I am pretty sure Mizzou would have been a terrible match up for us & FSU with big receivers against our dline & struggling dbs. It was too bad y'all couldn't get it done against the noles. Roll Tide!!...

Memphis runs & stops the run better than OM. They also spread the ball around & gave UCLA everything they wanted.

I think obviously EJ is an upgrade and I also think Geno is as well. Adding the physical presence of EJ on the outside will be a huge help against speed sweep teams and if we are eventually able to get TB up to speed we could eliminate bubbles & speed sweeps....

Our Mississippi problem is overblown. They have few prospects and the MS schools have high stakes to keep them. Plus they disproportionately academic concerns. Our best players seem to come from AL, FL, and LA. Probably no surprise that almost all national champs come from those states....

If you have seen the way Kiffin calls plays it is not difficult to understand why he is at UA. Run heavy with fullbacks and tight ends lead blocking to isolate one on one match ups for his receivers and tight ends....

No offensive coach would prefer to pass. Except maybe Spurrier in his days at UF, but even now he runs the ball first. Running is the more direct route to first downs and touchdowns. Pass happy designed offenses are made to neutralize more talented defenses....

Kamp has or will sign. So our rotation will be first year starters. I do believe it can still be a pretty good group. At this point I think you have Fri- Bramblett Sat- Eicholtz Sun- Guilbeau/Ocypok(sp?)
with Shaw & Castillo setting up Burrows. Hopefully some other young guys step up. Gaspard has d...

Yeah I hope we let Burrows continue to close and if Castillo got back to his freshmen form we could have a dominant set up man/ closer duo. Which could ease some of the pressure on our starters.

I would love a rotation featuring Kamp, Bramblett, and Burrows or Eicholtz ... I also would like to see Castillo back as the closer if Burrows moves to the rotation....

Next year is interesting. We must move to small ball if we are going to win in the met & if we focus on throwing strikes and playing defense we could be a really strong team....

Yeah, they seem to have a lot of free time this off season with the dreaming up national championship and this prolonged iron bowl after party. Meanwhile we have won a national championship and are serious contenders for a second one this spring
