Not official news by any means...but an alum who follows the program with some media connections has said HE HEARD they would reach out to Miles among a couple others....

I hope he takes it. it would save LSU quite a few million from the buyout

How do you feel about the toss dive?
Do you like it? I mean really like it?

I have no real opinion either way. I would not be disappointed if he was hired. He's capable of finding a decent OC-he had one when he won the NC. Gary Crowton's offense was a spread hybrid type. There are some good coaches out there so I'm sure we will get a decent one!!

I do not want to be playing Les Miles. He knows how to win ball games. At least Saban left us, Les will want nothing more than to rub our faces in it.

I love Les. Always will. I hope he coaches for MSU and is successful. If he learned anything over the last year and a half and stays out of the offense; he will recruit nothing but the best and field a team capable of victory.
Even if he beats LSU a few times it would be bitter sweet.

Unfortunately, in Les, the existence of a quality want to coach in the near future is overridden by the ability to live life, in a quality manner, by doing sweetfrickall for the amounts of cash received, on a monthly basis.

I wouldn’t go and deal with the stress.
frick that. Just playing the hypothetical of “IF.”

Whatever you may think of Miles his ability to recruit is unquestionable.

Really-spoken like someone who doesn't follow LSU-you see those players on the field last night thrashing A&M? Those players who beat Auburn? Who do you think recruited most of them? How many times did we beat LSU while he was their coach?

Lazy recruiter? Les is a lot of things but that’s not one of them.

Yeah Les gets most of the pre-gameday stuff right. It's when the 1st quarter starts that he's not at his best.

IMO Les wouldn't take a gig where he has to face LSU every year. JMO

Would be a safe hire for a few years until a better candidate surfaces. Let's face it MSU can field some good teams but they are a stepping stone school
