Another poster a few days ago said something like "Leach with his hands on our talent would be like a pyromaniac in a firework stand.
Dude would set it off.
I'll tell you who would actually have a career if Leach came...Russell fricking Shepard!

What did he win at TTU?

LSU has recruited towards a pro-style offense the last few years. If Crowton didn't mesh well, how is Leach going to mesh at all?

LSU is building an recruiting to be a power running team. That's what miles wanted all along.

He would draw the attention of the best QB recruits.
I think if Miles hired Leach, it would send fear into the rest of the SEC.
I'll admit, I am concerned with Weis going to Fla. I think we need a OC that is just as good and that would be Leach.

Just think of the WR and QB recruits who play in Texas. I think UTw will have competition and the state of Texas will be divided between LSU & UTw.

I love Leach but if he came here we'd be a circus.

We aren't already? At least from a media standpoint?
And, personally, I'd love this during Hurricane season: LINK

quote:FWIW, I was very unimpressed with Leach's tone in that response. Wouldn't want anyone taking perhaps the top paid OC position in the country with a chip-on-the-shoulder attitude.
Leach Interview..."Yeah, I'd talk to them"
LINK
He's asked directly about if he'd be the OC for LSU if they asked around the 14 minute mark. His response is something along the lines of "Yeah, I'd talk to them".

+1. He wants to be a head coach.
