Leach runs a finesse offense that may have worked some in the big 12 (still never won anything)

But it wouldn't work at lsu, not with miles at the ultimate helm.

to be fair, he needs to be judged purely on points scored because that's all he'll be judged for here.

LSU has recruited towards a pro-style offense the last few years. If Crowton didn't mesh well, how is Leach going to mesh at all?

LSU is building an recruiting to be a power running team. That's what miles wanted all along.

He would draw the attention of the best QB recruits.

I think if Miles hired Leach, it would send fear into the rest of the SEC.

I'll admit, I am concerned with Weis going to Fla. I think we need a OC that is just as good and that would be Leach.

Just think of the WR and QB recruits who play in Texas. I think UTw will have competition and the state of Texas will be divided between LSU & UTw.

We aren't already? At least from a media standpoint?

And, personally, I'd love this during Hurricane season: LINK

Leach Interview..."Yeah, I'd talk to them"
LINK

He's asked directly about if he'd be the OC for LSU if they asked around the 14 minute mark. His response is something along the lines of "Yeah, I'd talk to them".
FWIW, I was very unimpressed with Leach's tone in that response. Wouldn't want anyone taking perhaps the top paid OC position in the country with a chip-on-the-shoulder attitude.
