Sexton keeps calling Verge every 4-6 hours telling him the price keeps going up and he needs a counter. Verge and LSU hitting the phones and the calculator while Sexton is at home fielding zero phone calls. LSU bidding against LSU.

Florida is the only one of the 3 actively interviewing other coaches. It has the worst NIL of the three. It has been mediocre since urban and has conducted horrible searches. But yea I’m sure they got their shite together with Starkville Scott this time around.

When it comes to the podcasts and recruiting sites, recruiting season was their Christmas. The only real time they offered something you couldn’t get easily elsewhere.
Now, the coaching searches have replaced recruiting as the lucrative time for views and sign-ups.
It’s for the same reason-
no matter how shitty a season your team has endured the slate is wiped clean and help is on the way in the new up and coming hot shot coach that’s bringing a new scheme, new assistants and the ability to fix all the crap he inherited.
We fans can only stay miserable for so long.
And as a die-hard Saints fan that’s why in most years the draft is more important than the games themselves. HOPE.
