I hope Miss Terry answers.

"Jobs that weren't great jobs before are now. Lane is the first name up for Florida and the first name up for LSU, but I think you can have a long debate on whether either one of those jobs is actually better than the job he has now because he has some guys over there at Ole Miss that give him pretty much whatever he wants from a roster standpoint," he explained. "Maybe you've got alumni who are passionate about football, but are they willing to invest what you have to invest now to win? Because a lot of people don't believe in this s--t."
He went on to say that Lane is currently having to use the portal to fill the roster and that gets old where as a school like LSU you don't have to do that to the same extent. I'm paraphrasing but he did give both sides and all but said the same thing as everyone else that he could win a championship at LSU where that's really difficult at Ole Miss.
There were two times I saw him talk about it and I can't remember which one this was. One was on the Pat Macafee show and the other was on game day.
I think he also said he should stay at ole miss, but didn't know what Lane would do.
Saban seems like the type to give you straight advice though.

I don't believe any of this. He has likely made his decision a while ago.
As of gametime, he hadn’t.
Unbelievable, but this likely will be decided tomorrow during the meeting w/the AD.

win nattys, and retire.
He did that at Bama! It’s not like LSU is the only school to do that at.

If fricking up means winning 6 national championships at another school is it really fricking up?

It’s so clear he’s on the Pete Carroll track.

Saban is going to be Lane’s defensive coordinator at LSU, duh.

Can he do that at Ole Miss though? Highly doubtful, and this has nothing to do with Alabama.

Im not sure bama would pursue Lane but it does seem like the deboar to psu rumors still have legs.. pate hinted to being someone no one would expect that definitely moves the needle and now supposedly their secret target name starts with a K. Just saying... Not sure I believe it but I'm curious for sure

Pate also said that Kalen to Penn State wasn't happening so I would imagine that isn't who he was referencing.
