I completely agree. Then why doesn’t he say “I’m not taking the Auburn job“.

How about actually signing the contract extension then?

As a coach, I don’t think Kiffin deserves all of the hyp that he gets, but that was very nicely done.

You can spin it however you want, but you know the fact that Kiffin has a new offer with at least a $2M per year raise sitting on his desk that he hasn’t signed speaks more to where he is with Ole Miss than anything.

He’s put his players in a really bad situation going into their rivalry game. He’s put his OM recruiting class at risk. He’s pissing off everyone in Oxford.

If he intended to stay, we’d know by now.

Auburn needs to bow out of that shite show. There are better coaches to be had with half the drama.

His base is $7.25M.

If the OM offer is $9.5M, that is a $2.25M raise.

Thus the “at least $2M raise”.
