I think Kiffin will end up getting a HC job in the NFL. I'll go with the under and say it happens next offseason.

He has no pressure, AD doesn't bother him about all the shite he does, and Twitter keeps him famous.

He could legit make FAU into the new Boise/UCF/USF/Etc. I understand he may want a higher job, but he seems to legit be enjoying himself. And there are worse places to live than Boca Raton

It’s just money for Kiffin, but what he has done to a nobody of a program like FAU is pretty damn impressive.

I would set that at 2.5 imo.

Kiffin has a lot of time to worry about legacy. He is only 42. If I were him, I'd have a hell of a time coaching where he is with little to no pressure. Then, when he gets closer to 50, maybe take a shot at going somewhere where you can compete for a national title.

there is no better ending to the Lane Kiffin saga than him landing long-term at a school like FAU and pulling a Bobby Bowden

he'd be like a Benjamin Button of coaching with his career almost going backwards

also, just so everyone realizes, Kiffin is still only 42 (and Bowden was 47 when he took over FSU)

Considering each party's history, this actually seems like a mutually great idea.

He gives FAU their first winning season since 2008, may as well throw the bank at him even if he doesn't stay near that long.

Kiffin has zero pressure, will win a ton of games, has no head coach breathing down his neck, and is financially taken care of through his 40s.

Would be incredible if he got FAU into the B12 or something.

I mean, he can probably get to a point where he squeezes 2-2.5 million out of FAU.

He literally has no pressure whatsoever and can slay blondes all day as Joey Freshwater. I’d take 2 million, be king of Boca Raton, and enjoy life rather than take 4-5 million, live in Lincoln, Nebraska, Tuscaloosa, or Oklahoma and have tonsssssss of pressure and almost no job security. 10 year contract at FAU means he makes more than 3-4 years at a major school. I’d just chill if I were him.

No doubt but a million a year isn’t going to get him the high life there either. It’s pricey. He may be set from his NFL/USC contracts though, I’m not sure.

no, it is not that pricey. a million a year in Boca can get you one hell of a high life style. basically, some homes are very pricey but taxes are moderate and no state income tax. it ain't west palm dude.
