My source doesn’t know. Last week it was “70% confident” it would be Saban. But it feels like that window of opportunity has been shut, imo.

Oh wow so you may or may not have a sideline pass, who cares! My dad and I went down there at home games for years when he was coaching. That proves nothing other than you may or may not have a few connections to get you down there. Unless you are besties with Scott Ballard or Carmouche then you know very little.

That pic was taken right before the national anthem, evidenced by the flag on the opposite sideline about to be brought into the field. Once the team comes out to their sideline, visitors have to leave.
Even if you do have a sideline pass for during the game, that doesn’t mean you have “sources”. I know someone with sideline passes to LSU games because he knows a photographer. Neither he nor that photographer knows jack fricking shite lol.

The most likely scenario is that Jimmy Sexton is playing LSU and Florida off each other to get concessions out of Ole Miss.
If Lane is really as happy and settled in Oxford as everyone says, it wouldn’t take much. They probably wouldn’t even have to match LSU/UF’s offers. Coming a million or three within those offers with a nice extension would probably be enough.

My nephew is getting recruited by SEC schools. He went on some visits and this is what he was told this weekend. Lane is taking the LSU job. Golding will take the old Ole Miss job. He’s already preparing his staff. Auburn is getting the Tulane coach. The reason LSU is the choice is because Lane is keeping his family in Oxford and it’s close by and he feels like he can recruit better at LSU in Florida without in-state competition. Tifwiw which is not much.
