My guess is he's headed to Florida. The BK and Governor drama would scare anyone off.

Do we honestly believe he is recruiting him on behalf of LSU? I find that hard to believe. My gut is telling me it’s all smoke and mirrors and it’s someone else. I can’t see Saban doing us a solid, but I do believe we have gone hard after Kiffin. We would be stupid not to.

my guess is we offered saban. he said no. so we said corch could we pay u for services rendered and you help us get lane?

then again both could be smoke screens. we might all be in for a shock when the new corch signs.

I get that, but I can’t see Saban doing us a solid. His fricking name is on the damn field for our absolute rival. I am probably wrong though.

Love him or hate him, his offensive play calling is masterful. Unpredictable & innovative unlike LSUs lack of team cohesion.

OM players don’t always execute but his offensive Xs and Os are almost always on point. .

I was trying to remember this week who dropped the news Nuss was gonna opt out the rest of the way and they blame it on injuries.

Kiffon will stay at Ole Miss which means it's in his absolute interest to frick up the LSU coaching search as much as possible.

He will do it.

i knew it! i was thinking the same thing. ask nick to help us get lane. now this IS believable.

I could see that knew. Anyone in their right mind knew Saban wouldn't come back here to coach. He values his legacy and what he's built at Bama, but he always had a soft spot for LSU. Maybe Saban feels that while he couldn't personally come back to LSU to help build the program back to what he knows it could be, he could discuss it with Lane. Just speculating.

However, considering what he's done at Ole Miss, does he feel like he could do it there given the backing from the boosters and administration? Could they guarantee any consistent funding towards NIL that would keep him competitive in that regard? Idk. We'll see.

He’s full of shite.

Saban is still on payroll at Alabama as a consultant. There is zero chance he’s helping LSU bag a new coach.

Just curious as to why you feel this is the case and not Florida? Most of what I've been reading and hearing has been coming from Florida's side. Haven't really seen or read much from LSU's side in regards to this other than he's a top target.

Quick question: is the search going well?!? I feel like it’s been mixed messages from the outset. However I’ve been pleased with what the inside guys on On3 suggest.
