Kiffin's childish twitter troll on Tennessee

For those who forgot, Tennessee took a big gamble on a 33 yr old Lane Kiffin in 2008, giving him what was then a monster 2 plus mil deal. He bolted Tennessee for USC during recruiting season after his first year at Tennessee with a 7-6 record and getting blown out in his bowl game.

Kiffin was 4-7 in his last 11 games at USC before getting run mid term in 2013 when Ed Orgeron took over and won 6 of their next eight games, enough for Orgeron to be in the conversation to be head coach at USC.

Kiffin then went to Bama as offensive coordinator where his prickly personality clashed with the pricklier and more powerful Saban, leading to his exit last year for FIA.

Kiffin is a bright offensive coordinator who did well at FIA with an 8-3 record and in his spare time trolls Tennessee and Saban on twitter.

LSU was very close the getting Kiffin as offensive coordinator this past year. He probably would have done well with the offense, but it is hard to believe he would do well in a role as second fiddle to Orgeron. Even though they are supposedly good friends, everything about Kiffin's personality suggests he would have eventually tried to undermine or upstage Orgeron.

I dont care about him trolling Bama, he had to endure getting treated like the child he is sometimes by Saban. His making constant fun of Tennessee who is struggling to make a good hire is classless given their history.

He bailed on Tennessee after just one year at the worst possible time for them and showed zero remorse doing so. Now he is gleeful with the problems they have been having, like he was the jilted lover in their deal.

Kiffin is a talented guy who will always be a dick wherever he goes. If Orgeron cant get along with Canada and needs a new coordinator, so be it. I am glad it did not work out at LSU. His spots were going to eventually show and had things gone remotely south LSU and LSU fans would be on the other end of a dumb twitter fight.

Tennessee didn't screw Kiffin, he screwed them and its bad form for him to be in a childish twitter war making fun of Tennessee.
