As of now, he's staying. Arkansas is now looking at Napier, although there are conflicting reports about Drinkwitz garnering some traction. Napier seems to be their focus now.
Fritz has done a damn good job, and I think he's really what Arkansas needs. Him or Bill Clark would be able to rebuild that program. I'm kind of surprised Clark's name isn't being floated out there more. Someone is gonna end up giving him a shot and it'll be a big payoff.

Any young coach would be a fool to take the Arkansas job. They just shite canned a young coach after 18 months. Two completely different offensive philosophies have been recruited their over the last 3 seasons.
Arkansas needs an older coach who can come in and stabilize the program and build a solid roster. Much like Mack Brown is doing at UNC.
Jim McElwain wouldn’t be a flashy hire, but he could replenish the roster and be the guy who sets Arkansas up for the future.
