I see this a lot. Why in the hell does it matter if he has his blessing? He's a grown man and can go wherever he wants. Personally, I don't think he's coming to LSU and I'm not sure he'd overwhelmingly succeed here. But to say he "needs" Saban's blessing is asinine.

Had Kiffin never been a head coach and/or been out of the coaching loop for 5+ years as an ESPN analyst waiting for something to come open, I'd be worried.
With the current situation and Kiffin would be making more money at LSU as OC - the position at FAU would be the dead last thing I would expect him to move on. Gotta add the fact that he and Orgeron are friends and have history together.
