How bad does he hate it there to blow off a playoff run?

No no. You've got it wrong. BAMA fans are telling us that it's fine for him. The reason he's leaving is because Saban runs the offense in reality. Sark is just going to step right in and do a better job than Kiffin immediately. Continuity and chemistry be damned.

Listened to Saban's weekly Gump call in show. Nothing was even mentioned not that anything would be said by the midget dictator.

They melt if he even cuts his eyes at them. Such figs.

Alabama and Nick Saban were lambasted site wide when he hired Lane, now that Kiffin looks like he may be leaving early the chemistry simply can't handle a loss like this. If you people like you ever got any opinion right about Alabama, It might give me more cause for concern.

its the rant - Saban could build an orphanage and I would wonder the recruiting angle

just the nature of the beast.

I think the tone of the Kiffin and Saban relationship is too one side. Saban need to update offense too- Kiffin wasn't a complete charity case. That said Saban was smart enough to pull him, because that is what he does. Also before I get 1,000 down votes from Bama fans yes Saban is the best X and O guy and could have been successful with at least 50 other OCs.

isn't this board for all coaching changes?

The issue regarding the overwhelming lack of maturity of some of the fans comments on many of these boards isn't reflective of the LSU fan base as a whole. You could visit any fan site and draw the same conclusion on that fan bases level of stupidity.

The problem here is that LSU fans have been so beat down since January 2012 that they're starting to get restless and for many of these fans the Orgeron hire didn't help. Any victory over Alabama, no matter how insignificant, is just that - a victory. Kiffin leaving Alabama for LSU could be seen as a victory for many LSU fans.

I understand getting caught up in the euphoria of a coaching change and the potential it brings, but to question an Alabama's fan purpose in a thread regarding the Alabama OC is akin the great Snowflake Melt of Nov 8, it's laughable.

The juxtaposition of Kiffin leaving Alabama, from an Alabama fans perspective may be relief. While most fans don't want to see Kiffin leave, many Alabama fans are starting to get restless on his play calling. Stepping back from the foray of events and watching both sides go at is humorous.

While I'm mostly indifferent on Kiffin staying or going, the emotional side of me would consider it a loss to LSU, as they would be acquiring something that we have.

The upside of this is that is strengthening the rivalry between my two favorite football schools.

Finally, I can always cling to this little gem, Alabama won a BCSCG with Nussmeier as OC. Remember him? He's the current genius behind the Florida offense.

I don't know, but getting the USC crew back together sure does come with a lot of sleeze. Is that other former compadre of Kiffin and Orgeron, Tosh Lupoi, coming over from Bama as well?

Lupoi never coached at USC. And never coached with Kiffin until Alabama.

Well it's not super difficult to beat a team when you hold them to 0 points

only a fricking Bama fan would say some shite like this when their team is undefeated, averaging like 40 ppg, about to win the SEC championship and almost certainly will win the NC.

So what's the vibe going to be amongst Bama fans when all this is bullshite and he stays? Would Kiffin be good again? what a joke.

The funny part of your reply is you're forgetting the old adage:

An LSU fan's dream season is to win the national championship and fire its head coach in the same year.

We were doing nearly the exact same thing with Doug Nussmeier and we practically ran him out of town.

Look how his doing at Florida. Hell Jim won us two Nattys and UF might not score a point this Saturday

He's always been good. But there's always going to be someone with issues about play calling.

That's no different than the masses of rival fans that said he was a terrible hire that would be Saban's downfall.

I wonder if the leak about Sark going with Les Miles to Purdue was a plant by Sark's agent to get Bama to move on making him OC. If the relationship between Kiffin and Saban was a little sour, I could see them forcing Kiffin out for Sark.

Now, they obviously wouldn't want him out before the playoffs. Maybe that's Kiffin wanting out sooner rather than later. But why would Kiffin not want to coach in a playoff? Kiffin just got a massive raise this year from Bama. If the relationship between Saban and Kiffin was that bad, would they have given him such a raise?

So many unanswered questions with this. This smells of Kiffin doing something to really piss Bama/Saban off. I wonder what it was.

This can go two ways. Bama wins out and diminishes Lane's contribution or Bama loses and Lane gets to troll Saban that he was a much larger contributor to the teams success than anyone ever gave him credit for. My money is on Saban winning but I would love to see what happens if they dump Lane and lose.

Couldn't agree with you more, but with Sark on the payroll they are just going to plug and play with him and just like their football team their bench is so deep in coaching they don't miss a beat!
