he may leave us, but not necessarily high and dry. i'm sure if we have a good year we will be able to find another very good OC. money talks.

Would not be surprised if one of the greatest things that Lane would ever do for LSU was to leave them in the middle of the night for another job the following year.

Maybe

O has a shitload riding on Lane if he brings him to LSU.

What has Nick done in T town? Implemented a curfew on Lane? Drone surveillance? Dude hasn't fricked up there as far as we know.

Kiffin is also bringing LSU's 1972 offense into the modern day, actually getting credit for it (unlike at Bama) and doing it outside the shadow of Nick away from HC career rehab.

So he has every incentive to make it happen and keep his nose clean.

I mean he will do what he is doing to bama now. If he bails on them before the playoffs why wouldn't he do it to lsu? Lane kiffin cares about only one person...that person is lane kiffin.

And youre crazy if you think that LSU is a brighter opportunity than being the OC at Bama.

The brighter opportunity referred to their was Lane leaving for his next position AFTER LSU

Sure...I bet that's what Tennessee and USCw fans told each other before he was hired. That guy is a media disaster unless you have someone keep him in line.

If you don't believe Saban has been watching that dude like a hawk and intentionally keeping him away from the media you are sadly mistaken. Saban knows he is talented, but saban also knows he is a media nightmare if left to his own devices. O won't be able to handle him like Saban and LSU will suffer for it.

Keep seeing this dumb shite. If he leaves now it's bc Saban doesn't want to risk a title on a guy leaving for a division rival.

Which is good for Lane, but bad for LSU.

We are talking about millionaires with gigantic egos here.

You could fill in any number of names in your statement above:

Lane Kiffin
Nick Saban
Tom Herman
Chip Kelly
Jim Harbaugh
Urban Meyer

Where are all the nice guys who win consistently who don't fit that description?

Dabo?

You think when Nick retires Dabo won't leave his kids high and dry to take that job?

Cool. Can you share the link to the presser?

Lmao. I never thought i would see the day where LSU fans defended the moral character of lane kiffin. Wow...truly a sad day. Why don't you do some research on the guy and tell me about all his great PR.

Like when he wrongly accused urban meyer at a presser and got Tennessee in trouble in the process.

Or when he told alshon jeffery if he goes to USCe he would be pumping gas the rest of his life.

Or how he was trolling lsu and Tennessee THIS YEAR on Twitter.

Go ahead defend his moral character some more so i can laugh.

Did petrino cause sanctions at his prior coaching stints?

That narrative is why we have coach O. I don't want it to be why we end up with Kiffin too.

Matt canada

Those 3 i would be the most excited about and i think are as good or better than kiffin.
