It's amazing to me the amount of beat writers and journalists that present things as fact, when in reality, the facts could not be further from the truth.

Yeah, which is weird to say considering LSU will be in full rebuild mode next year too with a brutal schedule. Whoever comes over probably going to suck in year 1 regardless.

Please don’t post like you know anything for a fact. Fact is you know just as much as everyone else…..nothing

This is what I would expect om to say. I’d be worried if I were them too.

"I grew up picturing I'd be at one of the elite blue bloods where you can sign top-five classes every year because of your in-state talent and facilities and tradition," Kiffin says. "I wasn't raised to think it was a program like Ole Miss, but l've also changed a lot over the years. I didn't grow up thinking this was the final chapter of the story.

"Maybe it is."

Kiffin said this too. That ain’t Ole Miss, maybe Florida, definitely LSU.

You had me thinking the info might be legit until you added this.

I suppose you could just wait and watch to test the theory

Although I know you've probably held back on Lane because of Saban's interest

Isn’t his son a sophomore in high school and his daughter a junior in college? He has, what, 2 more years where this family unit is a thing. His daughter isn’t going to stay in Oxford post grad and he’s already said he doesn’t want to coach his son so he’ll be gone too. I think were his kids younger this would be a bigger deal. If he’s thinking long-term career moves, he’s going to consider his kids will be gone soon whatever he decides to do

That would make me want to stay even more. As long as I had that set up. That shite really matters when you’re 50. It’s brutal to be a divorced dad in ANY profession, much less one that is and has been as demanding of your time as a CFB coach. There will be good jobs open in 2 or 3 years. I’m not sure this cycle is an anomaly. Nobody is patient when everybody has a seat at the table and there’s so much $ at stake. I’d hang onto living in the same city as my kids as long as possible. Priorities are different at 50 than they were at 35.

Both sides are confident. (UF and OM)

That’s cute you think you actually know anything lol, and your ‘sources’ are a friend who makes 5 figures and has no connections to any higher ups.

Da Nile ain’t just a river in Egypt lol. LSU program is only one that makes sense because it is visibly easily better than Florida or Ole Miss.

Ex Wife went to Florida. Does anyone really give a shite where their ex wife went to college? I just can’t see that being a factor

Also can’t see his Dad coaching in Tampa as a factor either. What do the Bucs have to do with Florida Gators.

Seems far fetched.

The simplest idea is usually the correct idea, and that is LSU is obviously a better job than Ole Miss or Florida.

I think we got some cope. You very well may have heard this from a friend, but the original source is likely some Ole Miss fan coping.
