Keep him at Ole Miss and bring Primetime to the Plains.

He makes $7.5 million a year and this is the first year of that contract. Unless Auburn is willing to pay the $20 million buyout and pay him $10 million a year, he’s staying

i am almost certain this is what happens. I could see him going to nebraska before auburn but i do not think he leaves OM. they will pony up and keep him.

Is the 20 million buyout for SEC schools only?

More specifically SEC west schools, although I understood it to be $23M

$15M for SEC east schools

Nebraska is now a dead end job. You would have to recruit your arse off nationally just to put together a decent roster because there’s no in state talent outside of o lineman. Joey Freshwater doesn’t want to work that hard. He’s gonna wait until the Texas 4&8 or Bama jobs eventually open up before he makes another jump.

Over 8, probably closer to 9 after you factor in all the incentives

Facts

It's 10/year or don't call back...

Auburn isn't going to do that and if they do they're stupid.

Can you post a link to this instead of just parroting what in essence is nonsense?

One thing Lane Kiffin is not is stupid, and there would be no reason for him to agree to a $20M buyout at ole freaking miss.

Maybe if Ole Miss fired him, but not for him leaving.

What would Ole Miss do, tell him to hit the road? Let’s be real about who was in the power position in those contract negotiations…hint, not Ole Miss.

Dear god get off your high horse. Auburn aint what you think it is. Maybe 7th or 8th in the SEC.

If we want to take your coach we will take him and there’s nothing ole miss can do about it.

Maybe. Maybe not.

One thing for certain: Auburn is ahead of Ole Miss by every objective metric.

We will see. Have fun with Grimes and calling Lane again in 3 years.

Why would lane jump to a marginally better program and not wait 2 more cycles and have a real opportunity at top 5 national programs? The jump makes no logical sense except, Auburn is better program than OM hurrr durr.

But keep thinking that OM has a penny pinching AD and Tubbs is in play. This aint then.
