There is still no point to that. He also had his chance to do that earlier and he did not. Instead he danced around it. Besides, nothing he could say would strike near the confidence of OU just giving him an extension or a raise And yet they haven’t. Literally every other coach who was named (even briefly) in this search has gotten a raise and extension except one.
But hey, believe this doofus if you want. Ignore the fact that there is zero reason to wait to announce Rhule tonight if that’s the case. The panthers ain’t making the playoffs this year with their losing record. Lol

What are you talking about? Where did I say I believed the OP? You said there's no reason for OU or Riley to deny it when there's absolutely a reason they should. Multiple reasons in fact. So the fact neither Riley or OU have made any moves to extend Riley or him publicly announcing he is staying speaks volumes to me that this is very real.
ETA: if it was Rhule I doubt it would be announced this week considering the NFL season is still ongoing
