Ummm. Didn’t CP get UW to the 4 team playoff?

He was likely Woody’s only good football hire.

When we hired Elko he interviewed and at the time everyone said how impressive he was. I would have been fully on board with us taking a shot at him. I think someone will get a good one, he is who Arkansas should have in their crosshairs in my opinion.

Tulane will try to make sure that doesn't happen just because they are Tulane. That being said, I am told they do not think LSU would consider him.

Sumrall is not ready for a power job. Like I say in all these threads about him, he beat up on a lot of bad teams last year and we can’t seem to play a full 60 minutes of football. He needs to separate himself from Craddock and get an OC that doesn’t shite the bed in the red zone.

I don’t necessarily blame him for the last 3 losses last year as Mensah quit on the team and he gave Ty Thompson the bowl game in order to get tape so he could transfer.

He has kept the program going after Fritz left.

He's my first choice, but I think there will be better options for him.

Yall really aren’t as important to us as you may think. Maybe some of the older fans feel that way. However Tulane would try to keep Sumrall with the same effort if it was LSU, Auburn or Kentucky. They wouldn’t offer more money to keep him from LSU.

It is some old movers and shakers in your halls that I talk to that act that way. I agree that the rivalry doesn't mean as much to people 50 on down

If yall mattered to us as much as you think we would be playing in Tiger Stadium every year. Y’all owe us a home game and yall won’t come here. We said fine just "postpone the game".

Again yall are not as important to us as you think or try to make it seem.

I believe Sumrall makes around 3 million a year. You don’t think LSU could afford 7 million a year?

Or do you think they wouldn’t try to get into a bidding war with Auburn and MAYBE Arkansas?

Tell us you don’t know football without telling us.

Programs can be built and dismantled quickly..

To maintain and carry the torch constantly shows you’re an excellent coach as well.
