Smart guy. He’s way better off in Buffalo.

Good.

Wait for a job with a QB or a high draft pick in a good QB year

Smart. Taking the Saints job is only for people who don't have any other options. Mike McCarthy, come on down.

It better be McCarthy. Otherwise we are going to be supremely screwed.

He's far from a terrible backup choice. In his 18 yeas as a head coach, 13 of them he finished .500 or better. 11 seasons of 10+ wins.

His resume is better than Payton’s. People just get tied up with the hot commodity coordinators.

His resume took a hit yesterday with loss to Chiefs, some of the play calls were head scratchers, not getting a half yd with game on the line was not a good series

HOW MANY TIMES could they not get a yard?

I've seen middle school coaches with better situational play-calling.

It’s a hilarious image to imagine people on this board inside an actual NFL front office, just wildly changing their opinion on coaches based on the most recent result

“Man we gotta get this guy he was awesome last week!”

“Ahh shite never mind, he wasn’t as good this week, stay away!!”

So incredibly reactionary

Yet I get bitched at when I say look at bradys work from his time in Carolina. And same with Kubiak...he wasn't a playcaller in San Francisco and once McCoy (I understand that he is a great center) went down he had no plan to help the oline/qb. I'm not talking about later in the season when the had nobody.

It definitely didn't. He declined an interview with the Saints. They almost certainly would have offered him the job. It would have been dumb for him to take the Saints job.

The Saints need a tank commander. Someone to steer the tank for a few years in hopes the team can draft well and get out of cap hell within a few years then hire the coach of the future. Brady isn't trying to be a tank commander.

It would be smarter for him to hold out for Cincy.

Not sure Cincy would go after another offensive first time head coach if they did make the move at HC.

Also people really underestimate how much patience Mike Brown has as an owner.

Very true, I did forget about Brown. I just think Brady knows that he needs a good qb in order to win.

I would disqualify any coaching candidate who thought otherwise

His name is as hot as it’s ever been in NFL HC circles so may be a mistake to not at least take an interview, one bad season next yr could hurt his resume, just my thoughts
