He said he'd be dumb to recruit players to FSU so he can go play against them at A&M...?
Either way he was right because he definitely stopped recruiting when he decided he was leaving FSU, which was a big tell that he was leaving.

I definitely don’t believe this comment rules him out and the way people have talked about it, Woodward is throwing everything he can at jimbo so he has to be at the very least listening to his buddy to see if the deal would work out. Hell he would just recruit those guys to LSU, there would still be some time

People are idiots. Coaches have said generic “I’m staying” or “I won’t be the coach at state” before and then left
Jimbo has gone faaaaarrrr beyond those statements multiple times. He isn’t coming. This would be the opposite of media 101 if he was thinking about leaving at all
