Isn't this supposed to be the fun part, though? Flight tracking, rumors, etc. All this is supposed to add to the anticipation - I just don't want this deal screwed up this time. Either Jimbo or Herman needs to happen.

Pretty sure coaching in the SEC...SEC-W is a whole different world than where Jimbo is now. I stand by what I said before and that people were wanting Jimbo fired because his offense was predictable... When Jimbo was here people complained about Power I and two tight end formations yada yada and we know where the ball is going.

Wouldn't the removal of an LSU clause be bad?
As in the buyout must now be paid in full if he leaves for LSU since LSU is no longer exempted?

Guys, the reason DALSU said 3 weeks is because the Big 12 expansion meeting is Oct. 17th. Whether UH gets invited or not will go a long way in determining Herman's availablity.

No one amends contracts to remove clauses that are not there. The fact of the matter is that the most recent contract was January 2015 --- long before the supposed talks between LSU and Jimbo --- and it did not have an LSU clause. Neither did the 2013 contract before it. There was no LSU clause to be removed.
These contracts are a matter of public record because they are made with public institutions. The contracts and the amendments are usually available as soon as they are approved by simple FOIA request.

Few thoughts:
1. Why did Saban say he wasn't ready and why did Skip go by that?
2. Why do you bring in an offensive coach (Miles) and push Jimbo on him. Jimbo was slowly pushed into Miles system and he got out.
3. Not sure where to stand on DA's info let's say it is real. He shouldn't be leaking it. I think leaking stuff out theologically called us the end of last year. I honestly could do with out the post true or false.
