What are the unique things the LSU job does for his career aspirations?

Successful in SEC w/most difficult job

Doing very well at PSU in his home state

$ aside as many other programs can deliver $.

To start....the most talent rich state in America that doesn't have in state recruiting competition like Florida, Texas, and California.

He's not coming here, he'd have to get past Saban every year. Easier path at Penn State or USC.

I think he's a good coach but I do question his QB development. I can't remember much in his career in the way of good qbs. Just off the top of my head. A bunch of hyped ones but nothing that formed into anything.

I don’t think he has a much easier path to the CFP at Penn State. Ohio State is a behemoth.

Eh, he has Ohio State in his division now.

He would win a NC here that he won’t at Penn State because it’s not the 80s

He's from Pennsylvania and coaching at Penn St. He may just want to stay home.

The idea is to hire the guy for the post/Satan era.

I think he’d be great with the right staff. Guy is incredibly personable and could recruit this state in his sleep.

He has too much to lose by leaving Penn St for any job. He’s in a good spot with low expectations.

If Tate is hellbent on hiring a black coach, then Franklin has to be number one on the list.

That said, frick that racist motherfricking president.
