It looks like Woodrow is "smokescreening" Gillbitch to keep the pressure off Riley. BallChamp00 is convinced we have our new guy secured/that the search is over. But he's hell bent that Aranda was never even considered. He claims Campbell and Fleck were the others considered "1st tier." I say yuck to both of those.

Give that dude one final offer with a deadline of 24 hours, tell him take it or leave it. With Florida in the mix now, LSU needs to stop f’n around with this guy and risk being left with our dicks in our hands, because we played around with this guy for too long.

I think that it is obvious at this point that Riley will not make a decision until the Oklahoma is officially out of the playoffs. He can talk to Woodward all he wants, but there is very little chance he leaves as long as there is the potential for Oklahoma in the playoffs. LSU needs Oklahoma State to win this weekend. If they do, Riley is likely LSU's coach. If Oklahoma wins, Riley gets an extension and LSU moves on. No inside info here; just connecting the dots.

At this point, Woodward has his first choice (presumably Riley) and a fallback option that he knows will accept at this point. You don't get to this point in the search without having your floor set.
