This is for real this time. I mean for real.

And to think that there is a possiblility of not seeing Les stare at the scoreboard like its about to fall down throughout the course of the game or clean his ears frantically on the sidelines.

Part of me wants this to happen just for the train wreck that will ensue.

If by train wreck, you mean someone coaching the team with more accepted mannerisms, but less wins .... I agree. Will be fun to drown my misery of following a mediocre program by socially lambasting all the Les haters in my circle.

it's not even likely. more like 50/50 at best we hire a coach that does at least as good as miles.

Alabama had three coaches before Saban and proceeded to go to the Libery bowl 3 times and Independence bowl 4 times in an 11 year span and got beat by Auburn 6 straight years.

Hard to believe that was only 5 years ago.

Ask a Tennessee fan these days. They would give their respective left nuts to have Fulmer back.

LSU did basically the same shite....Archer, hallman and dinardo...we were the doormat of the SEC...

Putting a lot of trust and all the fricking politics that get involved in a hire like this to get the right guy in place

I'd hate it if he left, my Rosetta Stone for Milesisms just came through on cd, I've got through the first four disks, still have 3 more to go. I mean geaux.

throw Alleva into the mix and it's a disaster waiting to happen. or maybe not. maybe like some have posted, just about anyone could keep the train moving + LSU recruits itself, so we'd have that going for us.

Not necessarily. It is hard to find a coach who is the right fit. It is not automatic. If historical programs like Bama, USC, ND etc can all go through stretches of hiring mistakes then LSU most definitely can (heck, we went through a 45 year stretch without a title!).

this is fricking laughable. the notion that miles just recruits pretty good and rolls the ball out on saturdays to let the team do their thing to the tune of 80+ win percentage in the SECW is just dumb. no not just anybody can "keep the train moving" there are probably about 10 or so that could and the likelihood of one of them leaving the good job they already have to come to LSU is slim. very slim.
