I’m hearing the same. Apparently Verge saying saban wasn’t coming was because he wasn’t brought up to speed on whats going on behind the scenes. Pissed off the new president. Not saying it’s a lock or that I know for sure what’s going on but I’ve been hearing it’s not over yet.

The bama guy coming is still fishy to me.

I don't think Jesus can help us with this. He was always more of a Big 10 guy.

Press conference at 4:20 pm.

…cuz that number would have to matter to you for you to believe any of this.

At this point this kind of prediction is so crazy that it should be a ban bet from anyone who makes it.

Pin a thread to the top that puts their names on the line. If you are wrong…gone forever.

Guys, we can't even decide on a fricking AD. We do not have a coach. Not even close. I doubt that we are any further in the process than just gauging interest from guys.

Must be true.

He's started renting out his house in Alabama.

Keep it coming and ignore the trolls.

If you talk to people of influence in BR, both political and money people, there is certainly a push to hire Nick Saban and some think it will happen. I tend to think this is like a lot of coaching searches where you have guys used to getting what they want and thinking just because they want it and can throw some money/power around it will happen. Often times these things fall apart. We'll see.

I have posted the info I've been given. That it's either Kiffin or Saban. That is who LSU is going hard after. In my opinion Saban is 1a, Kiffin is 1b.

Thanks for sharing the info. Whether it actually happens or not, I believe that your source said it.

Monday can’t come soon enough!

Agreed. Ignore the trolls and keep the info coming. Reasonable people understand that circumstances can change. It doesn't mean your info wasn't right at the time you posted.

No doubt there have been inquiries… how does that morph into hes coming

Original source
“ we have reached out , word is he wont be interested but as a courtesy will take the call”

Then..

“ Seems he’s very interested and have been in contact with us”

And on and on and on, and by the time the seventh person in this communication chain gets the message, it is that “he’s coming”

The more people come out saying its Saban makes me more confident it wont be him.

Thats how it works every single time these coaches get hired.

He’s 74 years old. He can’t possibly put in the years that we need to create a dynasty. It’ll be all NIL based and we need a generational coach. Young and energetic.
