For the record I want Napier also . If the objective is to win the Natty , you have a much better shot with Napier . If the objective is to be kinda good and have a Black coach , why then , Tucker is your guy .

Those two would be down the list even if Scott really likes Napier. I doubt we've gotten to that point this soon in the process.

This is consistent with what I have heard as well, from the only reliable sources I have within the AD. I was told that Tucker is the frontrunner and will be hired unless he stumbles down the stretch. Believe me, this is not welcome news. I think Tucker is a fraud and a mediocrity based on his history. Napier and potentially Franklin are the fallback options. I don't know if my information is correct, of course, but the same individuals accurately forecast Orgeron's hiring, many recruiting results, many defections and internal scandals, many injuries, and Orgeron's resignation. I pray they are wrong. I will be very disappointed if it is Tucker.

You don’t have any knowledgeable ‘sources’ within the LSU AD. These talks are between the agents, Woodward and a handful of prominent boosters. The LSU AD is completely shut out of this process.
