It does not sound like Aranda is completely in

I thought part of the interview was that the staff was in place, with figures set at 2M for Aranda.

I can't imagine the backlash if this results in Aranda going to Texas or anywhere else.

Aranda is about to be bossed by teh guy he was the boss of earlier this year, who is a vastly inferior coach to him

Aranda is gone soon anyway. Whether at UT or LSU, he's shooting for a Kirby Smart type move to HC position somewhere good.

Understatement of the Year.

Just promote Aranda if you want to stay in house. He is the best (top 3) at his position. Seeing a leap frog in corporate hierarchy is really rare.
