It does appear we shoved all our eggs into one basket.

I hope I am wrong. But I just don’t buy that the Riley smoke was all BS.
Napier to UF is a perfect example of how no sitting HC likes being strung along as a last second desperation escape hatch.
The likely available candidates remaining are:
Fickel - not coming
Aranda - pray to whatever god you pray to for this to happen
Campbell - who knows?
Stoops - meh
Kelly - meh
Not looking good dudes.

Seems like you might be the retarded one. So you want a 60 year old man from the Midwest. To coach a bunch of kids from the south? A 60 year old man, who is in the playoffs because he plays a fairly easy schedule. And as for as stoops goes. He is winning 8-9 games while playing Vandy, Mizzou, South Carolina and Tennesse? So the whole 11 win thing with our schedule is probably wrong..

Matt Rhule isn’t a candidate in your mind? Again, Woodward has one chance here and he’s not going to go to a tier 2 hire. He’s gotta hire someone who’s proven they can build a program and sustain it

Riley, Aranda, Napier, Campbell were my top.
We are down to Aranda & Campbell, but the point you’re missing is that if the LR smoke was real... we are in obvious fallback negotiations. That’s like offering a sought after recruit late.
