Not sure how good of a coach he is but at least he can recruit. He stole some from Louisiana and on top of this, should be easier for him to recruit in Louisiana by being at LSU. I expect his recruiting numbers to get inflated at LSU if his main region is New Orleans. Seems like he also has strong connections in Florida and several other regions. It should be easier for him to recruit Louisiana at LSU than at Georgia.
That list also doesn't seem to show he was heavily involved and a big reason for several other big time recruits for Georgia.
