Why would he make a lateral move?I get he is from New Orleans but is that enough?

Maybe that, and maybe the promise of a more dynamic passing game.

Kirby doesn't like to open up the offense. He kept Fromm and let Fields walk; you could say that was experience. But he also kept Bennett and has Daniels sitting on the bench. I get it, they're winning, but there just doesn't seem to be the drive to crank things up. Even Saban eventually changed Bama to a wide-open attack, BECAUSE ALL THE RULES FAVOR THAT. Georgia seems content to load up on 5 Star talent and bang away into the line, and play defense. That gets you good, but not great.

LSU showed how easy a highly talented SEC team could transition to a wide open attack. So did Bama.

Got the wide receiver coach already coaching the bowl game but Kelly wants to see what he does how he coaches the wide receivers before he jumps to give him a permenant future wide receiver staff position. He a south Louisiana guy that knows Nola well so why not wait and see before make a decision
