Where would you put it? My back of the napkin take would be 15-18.

No one objectively think A&M is the 20th best job.

debatable but UF and FSU are much closer than TAMU and Texas

TAMU isn't even on the radar of great programs. It's silly that they think of themselves as that way. Totally insular view.

Here are 22 or so: which ones would you place it above? I get around 15 or so better.

Alabama
OSU
Michigan
Georgia
Florida
Auburn
LSU
ND
Clemson
USC
OU
FSU
Texas
UCLA
PSU
Washington
Wisconsin
Miami
Stanford
Ok State
Michigan State
Virginia Tech

In no particular order, better pjobs than A&M currently:

bama
usc
uf
fsu
lsu
ut
AU
UGA
OSU
UM
CLEM
Oklahoma

A&m then falls in the bucket of 12-15 somewhere with Miami, Penn State and a few others

Program rank vs job rank are not the same.

Case in point: Nebraska.

off the top of my head in no order these are jobs that are hands down better than A&M:

Bama, Auburn, LSU, UGA, Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, Clemson, USC, Oklahoma, Florida State, Texas, Notre Dame, Penn State, Oregon, and Miami.

The next group of teams you want to start talking about is where A&M would fall.

I would put us above this group plus UCLA. Fisher going from FSU to A&M will make some of my brethren say we are above them but I don’t think it’s that simple. We are close with them though from what people have said about their current facilities

^Pretty much what he said but I think we’re above Miami IMO

I don't think you could put it above UCLA. They just landed Chip Kelly who was the best available and they signed some ridiculous deal with Under Armour. It is a pretty good gig. I would also disagree with putting it above Auburn.

Alabama
OSU
Michigan
Georgia
Florida
Auburn
LSU
ND
Clemson
USC
OU
FSU
Texas
UCLA
PSU
=============================Line of Demarcation=============================
Washington
Wisconsin
Miami
Stanford
Ok State
Michigan State
Virginia Tech

Under no circumstances is A&M a better job than Penn State, though. That's just asinine.

Every team he listed absolutely has an argument of being a better job than A&M. 12 of them he listed cant be argued

believe me, i think UCLA is a good gig

but i think A&M is better. we have better facilities, more money into our program, and we can recruit texas like they can recruit southern california

Better facilities only matter for recruiting. For example, people talk about FSUs shite facilities but the are top 5 in recruiting every year which is all that matters......

My list omitted Oregon, and I'm torn on whether A&M is a better gig than Oregon. I could go either way on that. They would be right next to each other on my list either way.
