He and Spurrier are still close and I believe they still live close to each other.

Would someone owe OU any $$?

I didn't realize Spurrier lives in Norman. Odd but maybe he really likes BRAUMS

They both have homes in Florida, too.

Who wants to live in Norman 24/7?

Isn't that bridge burned? Even if he did come back, I thought his relationship with UF was pretty much dead.

Maybe I'm misremembering

His kids go to Norman North and he's seen around OU pretty often. I have no idea where he has other houses and I'm sure he has a beach house somewhere in Florida. I have never heard about him living in Chicago

nope. Stoops is done. he said he's watched too many guys spend their entire lives on the sideline, he wants to enjoy his retirement and enjoy all the things his football career has made possible

Stoops owns a home at Crescent Beach and they vacation with the Spurriers. Yes, they are close friends.

That being said, I don’t see Bob taking that job. UF is a disaster and I doubt but he has the energy to take that on.

Won’t happen. Stoops did it right. Retire young do you can actually enjoy your millions instead of wasting away on the sideline

Nope. He's not a fan of the SEC. And I don't see him coming out of retirement to coach a dumpster fire anyway.

I do see him as a consultant but that would be back at OU. Just don't see him coaching anywhere else.

So a guy who retires with a Heisman QB and a loaded team returning is going to go do a rebuild one year later?
