I think it is just you. You're just not going to being excited about college football until Saban retires? If the possibility of getting Lincoln Riley doesn't excite you, idk what to tell you.

The list is basically Riley and Napier. That's it. One pie in the sky attempt and then the 2nd tier guarantee hire.

I think this is one of the best pools in a long time. Do you remember the pool when we hired O? After the Herman debacle, it was basically Fuentes, Fedora and Gundy. THAT pool scared the crap out of me.

I watched Miles and O field incredible teams and unbelievably entertaining players.
Every coach on the “lists” are significant upgrades to those coaches.
Not underwhelmed at all. Looking forward to it.

There’s actually no candidate I would melt over. Maybe the 2016 cycle was just so pitiful, but I feel at peace this time.

The fact that our settle candidate is Billy Napier that I think can build and run a great program makes me think this is a good list.
There are no Defensive line coaches who failed at their last head coaching job in this pool so thats a plus

It’s you. There are some very good coaches out there. I would also say in today’s negative society it most likely influences you to be negative also!

exactly. Essentially the Floor is Napier/Kiffen/Aranda
i do think all three are much better than franklin, but im sure im in the minority because most have not researched things.
I also think Bill o Brien would be a homerun hire and I know im in the minority there.

I'm not a fan of paying anyone north of 5M that is not proven.
I think there needs to be a massive turnover on the roster before any long term success can bee achieved.

Just you. I’d be happy with Riley, Napier, Fickle, and of course the white whale of white whales - Saban. I’d feel like we’re settling with Kiffin.

There's no one that gets me really excited, but there are lots of really good candidates.
Likening it to recruiting, 5 stars are minimal, but the 4 star pool is deep as hell.
