Is Hankton to Bama a real possibility, or just a rumor?

He will get the CO- OC added to his resume which Ala
wont do.Plus it comes with a bump in pay.

I would think he would be on Saban's shortlist
I think LSU would need to make that co coordinator permanent to keep that from happening

Hankton will also get a lot of interest from NFL teams if he wants to make that move

These coaches have to strike while the iron is hot and when you put out Thomas and Nabers there will have to be a little drop off next season

Of course it’s a possibility. It’s not likely but never say never

He's making a ton of money with LSU (almost $1M/yr) so unless Bama is making him Co-OC, I would doubt it.

I like Hankton, but we've been putting out 1st round WRs for years and it wont change anytime soon.

True, but losing him to Bama in particular would be offensive. I'd wish him well if he went to the NFL or got a head coaching job.

Last thing I saw was that Bama mods were going to look into it but never reported back.

Spitballing, the only reason he made a lateral move from UGA to LSU was the hope of getting the OC position quicker. Maybe Sloan got it, Hankton isn't down with co-oc, or they are hiring outside the program.

Don't aggregate me.

Exactly. There's a good WR behind every pine tree in Louisiana. Whether he stays or goes isn't going to affect the Tigers at that position.

Actually, that makes me think: when is the last time LSU didn't have at least a 3rd round WR on the roster?
