Is Ed Orgeron at Stanford a good culture fit for their Alumni and Boosters?

Clearly, Coach Orgeron has California/PAC-12 experience and can recruit anywhere.

The only hesitation to the rumors I am hearing is will the Alumni accept him as a friend of academia.

Thoughts?

Can you imagine O speaking in front of the boosters? Lol. Not a good fit. Stanford is probably getting a coordinator from the pac 12

How could they pass on hiring a national champion?

One thing is certain, he won't be helping his players with their homework.

He could probably find a QB to throw down the field and beat A&M for sure.

Yea that would be like when Tulane hired Vince Gibson. The
elites(snobs) at Tulane couldn`t stand him because he sounded like a country bumkin. He evan beat LSU 2 or 3 times
in a 4 year period and they still fired him.The genusies
then hired a well spoken coach ,Wally English, fit the elites
academic qualifications but couldn`t coach a lick.
