Sure, but I'm sure he realizes that hiring a coach with no head coaching experience who has only been at the school less than a year is unlikely.

His defense just held the number 1 team in the country to 0 points in the 4th quarter. I highly doubt this will go unrecognized, his stock is about to take off.

LSU is a big enough name/brand we shouldn't be taking shots on unproven HC, much less coordinators that never held the position before.

Never understand why successful coordinators automatically get brought into the head coaching specualation. Not every coordinator is truly a head coaching fit and not every coordinator aspires for the top job.

I posted about this yesterday, so not gonna repeat, but yeah the AD needs to know what his ambitions are. Either as HC or DC, College or NFL, what does he want?
