Is anyone else wondering why teams aren’t going after Kenny Dillingham?

Why didn’t Florida give him a bag? He could change that program.

A lot of it is that he's publicly stated multiple times that he wanted stay there for the long haul to build up his alma mater.

He worked his way up at ASU, I think he really likes being the loyal guy to that program.

Maybe he ends being like Kirk Ferentz and just stays there. He has job security for life, no pressure, beautiful place to leave.

Why is it so hard to believe that a guy who was born in Phoenix and attended ASU wants to be the coach at ASU and spurned any interest?

Not me. His history isn't as impressive as you people think it is.

It’s just as good as Silverfield, Golesh, and Sumrall all of whom got SEC jobs

EXACTLY. Its almost like people dont read. ASU is his alma mater. Phoenix is home.

You are absolutely right but every man has his price and he took an ASU team to the cfp with a bye. If Florida wants to get back I think Dillingham is the coach to do it.

He probably would have been the 2nd most desirable coach in this cycle if he wanted to leave

His ceiling is way higher at Arizona state than Florida and he’d fail bigly here with this administration

my understanding is he backchanneled interest to LSU. i think he would be open to moving under the right circumstances, he basically has to act as his own NIL fundraiser there

he had 2 calls with admin for the LSU job.
Florida did not pursue.
He would leave but has to be the right job and would have to pay prolly 10 or 11 million as he made almost 8 last year.
he isnt leaving his alma mater for just any job. has to be a place he legit has a shot to win multiple national championships and is willing to pay him and put up big money for NIL.
michigan possibly could be that job, but most are scared off by him saying he doesnt want to leave.

His first on-field coaching job at Arizona State was as the head coach. He definitely did not work his way up at ASU.
He was briefly an analyst there years ago, but his first "real" coaching job was at Memphis.

Not only did he say he wasn't leaving, he was pretty much trashing those who do.
Should take him at his word if he's going to be preachy about it.
