the NIL and Dabo concerns me…I believe he said something along the lines of “the day college players begin getting paid is the day I quit coaching.”

And then immediately accepted a raise and extension when NIL passed.

He’s way too defensive and soft to be in Baron Rouge. He’ll have puffy eyes and diverticulitis within the first month.

Christians are just like everyone else. Flawed human beings that continue to commit sins. It’s human nature. That why we need forgiveness. I struggle every day. We are not angels by any means. We strive to be better people and to make the world a better place

Would Dabo win a NC at LSU? Yes

I just don't want this embarrassment we've had the past 2 years.

That’s the good news about this search…pretty much every candidate that has been discussed is an improvement over what we currently have.

This is a beauty contest where we are over analyzing every single candidate and pointing out flaws/concerns with each, and of course they all have flaws and potential concerns. Hell, Saban would provide his own set of concerns (how much longer?). But the good news is they’re all better than what we have, most by a pretty wide/significant margin.

Potential flaws/concerns:
Riley - Defense and has he benefited from weaker conference?
Dabo - Is he another glorified Cheerleader like O totally dependent on coordinators?
Napier - G5, can he successfully make the jump?
Aranda - is it too early? What about recruiting?
Franklin - his his ceiling what he’s done at PennSt? Offense leaves a lot to be desired
Jimbo - not worth a 10 year guarantee, he’s past his prime and offense probably outdated
Tucker - how do we know based on only 2 years?
Kiffin - do we really need another coach that is the story?
Campbell - isn’t he probably better suited for the Big10?

No matter who the next coach is here at LSU it is obvious
that a great majority of fans will hate the decision. That`s
why Nick called it catastrophy syndrone. All Tiger fans pull
in different directions and it will be very hard for the new
coach to succeed here at the level we want, unless his name is Nick.
Lets see,DABO sucks,Jimbo sucks,Napier sucks,Campbell sucks
Tucker sucks,Aranda sucks,Kiffens an AH,Riley dont do
defense ,Franklins a fraud,anybody else ya`ll hate.

Ole poster who seems like a troll on 24/7 said something is going to break in 48 hours. Said by Dellinger and said it wasn't Riley or Jimbo haha.

Maybe this is the bump of all bumps.

FWIW Dabo would be a horrible fit at LSU, is a complete clown of a character and would fail without bringing BV with him. I've not heard Dabo anywhere.

Dabo would kill it here...is he any worse of fit than Saban or Miles when they were hired here?

Dabo gave an...interesting response when a reporter brought up the LSU job.

I have no doubt he's on Woodward's list, and probably higher than most people realize.

It would make more sense for Dabo to take the job than Riley, IMO.

Other than his punchable personality the thing I don’t like about dabo is he isn’t a specialist in anything. I want an offensive or defensive expert who knows how to run one of those sides of the ball. Dabo is fooling no one walking around the sideline glancing at his little laminated play sheet.

Fair point.
Dabo just irks the F out of me for some reason.

He’s basically Oregon all over again. Dabo’s born again schtick would become tiresome quickly as well.

I think the conversations around “fit” are usually overblown

But in this case, Dabo would an AWFUL fit at LSU

Agreed on both.

Is Finebaum really a good source to help us determine who will be the next LSU head coach?
