Honestly, I feel like the LSU job is too big of a jump for Napier, but I really don't think Franklin will succeed here. At least not up to our expectations. I think Franklin is going to go 9-3 every year. Napier has a lower floor, but could possibly have a higher ceiling as well.

Also, we can get Napier cheaper with less guarantee so it'd be easier to cut bait if it doesn't work out. Franklin will be getting a huge salary with a lot of guaranteed money to leave Penn State.

Lol. One guy won 9 games a year at Vandy (wow) and Penn State (Blue Blood). The other won 9 games a year at USL. Yeah, they’re in the same league

Dude has hella minions on here spreading propaganda like O in 2016. If we are being real, there’s no way LSU would consider THIS guy at THIS stage in his career. Absolutely believe there’s a fair chance that he is great and we may even regret not hiring him one day. But to me that’s like us not hiring Kirby Smart in 2005. It’s just way too soon to know. He doesn’t have the resume for this Job. Franklin does. Fair enough if you don’t want Franklin but there’s no objective measurement that puts Napier ahead of him other than the “one of us” argument.
