His original deal signed last January was 2 years at 900k per. He received an extension in the middle of December, but are you sure that has been made official yet? If he's looking for State to sweeten the extension, then I think it probably hasn't been actually signed.

The guys saying he is just trying to get a bigger check from MSU or that we cannot afford his buyout (which the poster above established is relatively low) are either: (1) just plain stupid, or (2) putting Arnett down in the hopes that they can direct the citizens of this Board away from Arnett and towards their preferred candidate. Which is it lads?

Those things almost always include a clause about taking a "promotion" being excluded from the buyout language. Agents do not want to preclude a client from "advancement". It is one of the reasons we have all these extra titles.
