I can see reading comprehension isn't your strong point. Let me see if I can spell it out for you slowly since it appears you took the short bus to school.

O would be at the top of my B list meaning he would be my third choice. You brought up Fedora, not me. You must be the retard that thinks it would be a good idea to pursue him.

You know how I know you're stupid? Because I've read your posts.

I feel like if he has just 1 loss, regardless of who it is to and provided it's not embarrassing, he gets the job. Hard to imagine Alleva turning him away in that scenario, just my opinion. Also, I know keeping a recruiting class together is NOT a reason to retain a coach, but if he does finish with just 1 non-embarrassing loss (or 0?) and seems to be managing the program well, it'd be nice for recruiting continuity if he remained.

That is not right now

Why would i want to hire a coach who has a losing record? Because he beat Alabama? You can't be serious. In that case let's just hire Hugh Freeze. He is doing better than O did at Ole Miss and has beaten Bama too! Multiple times even! He must be the best answer to our coaching woes by that logic, right?

What i am saying is no. Really...no.

its about recruiting and staff hires. O doesn't have to be a techmo bowl savant or expert x's/o's guy on offense. no one at home depot gives a rat's arse that Arthur blank doesn't know what a self-tapping screw is or that hostas don't like full sun.

Don't forget his recruiting ability! Think of all the 5* flips we'd get if he was our coach!

even if O beats Bama and wins out, it still doesn't make him the best candidate, which is all I want

He will probably get the job though

there is nothing he can do this year to earn that job. it is not his team, he did not build it, he is only taking one of the most talented rosters in America and doing what should have been done with it.. half the coaches in America could do what he is doing right now..

you're telling me half the coaches in America could take one of the top 5 most talented teams in the country and beat Mizzou, USM and Ole Miss? I'm thinking that number should be higher than half.

LSU is ranked #13 even with two losses. Why aren't half the coaches in America doing better with their current teams?

you say this as if they just pulled him in off the street, as if he hasnt been recruiting and coaching these players for 2 years.

you could say the same thing about Aranda. could half the coaches in the country do what hes doing too?

probably me... i will admit it. I like Coach O but want a different choice. Now if they win, I will probably be one of the people that will be on board

I won't be on board, but i'll certainly start warming up to the idea a little more.

He still has a ways to go in proving he's the guy for the job imo.
