besides Harbaugh or Miles? What names do you think will realistically be in the mix besides Harbaugh or Miles?

seems plausible...doubt Peterson or Patterson make the move.

IMO they will not fire him unless one of these two are a lock.

If they hired Harbaugh they'd suck for at least 2 more years. His offense + this personnel has disaster written all over it. Harbaugh's O is built on tough as hell corn fed roided up white dudes. UM ain't got none of those.

I think they only have 3 real possibilities in Harbough, Miles, and Hoke.

They basically HAVE to hire someone with real Michigan ties. If they fire RR it will be to make that kind of hire. Otherwise they are better off staying with who they have.

I would think the list for UM would be:

Harbaugh- don't think he goes
Miles- who knows?
Edsell
Hoke
Golden

Would they dare try to get D'Antoni from rival Mich State? Seems like his name hasn't been thrown around much. The health problems maybe?

I think if they fire RR it will be to hire someone with UM ties. I think that would be priority number one.

As a Michigan alum I really wish we already knew what was going to happen. The silence is killing me, however I get it. Considering the fiasco that happened in 2007 I doubt anything will be made public until it is 100% in place if a change is made. Either we go to Harbaugh, or we keep RR. Either way, I really believe those are the only two option. If we don't get Jimmy, we won't make a change.

The Les Miles ship sailed in 2007. We won't go after him again. Sorry guys.

As far as Dantonio goes, I think we would rather stick with Rich Rod and go 3-9 again than have that a-hole anywhere near our campus, at least I would. He has too many off the field problems with his players and gives too many second, third, and forth chances in order to win.
